Bee Reproduction

Bees undergo metamorphosis. The honeybee queen can lay 1,500 eggs in one day. These eggs are laid in the wax comb cells. After eggs hatch, larvae are fed by the worker bees. The larva will change into a pupa and later into an adult bee. It is important to mention that drones develop only from unfertilized eggs.
